Cardiologist choices

I would like to get opions on the following. I don't really have a lot of faith in my old Cardiologist, as he was not really for the MAZE. I feel like he would have kept me coming back saying "Your doing good, continue your meds and come back in a year." In this year I have had conjestive Heart Failure twice and the kidney problem, which was really a problem of not enough control on the water pills. Anyway what are your thoughts. I would like to go back to him and be able to say look at what the MAZE can do. It would be a little more problem time wise and milage wise to change, but not insurmountable. My thoughts are to have the Surgeon's office recommend someone even if I have to travel to Boise. I was very impressed with Dr Undesser, who checked me out. He did not do the angiogram as he was going to be on vacation. But he did arrange it.
