Hi-
I am soooo sorry for not getting here sooner. My ablation went ok, but-why is there always a but- they hit the area where my atrial pacer wire is so I have to go back in a few weeks to get that replaced then we will be able to see if the ablation really got it I so hope with this being #5 Anyways my arrythmias were both a typical flutter then a scar flutter from the previous open heart. I was in for a little over 8 hours, my biggest complaint after was my back from lying there soooo long, plus I remember a lead being put down my nose , I guess this helps the mapping process some how!
So, thanks for all your prayers. I will let you all know when the next procedure is, they will have to pull my atrial lead put a new one in and probably a new battery too, because they had to turn the impedence(?) up soooo high that the battery just placed last Oct. will probably be very low. So, right now my pacer will not allow my own heart to work at all, so I can't wait to see how I feel after the new pacer. Although I have definately had some palpitations still-hopefully just due to the healing process!
Please, keep me in you prayers, and again I will keep you all updated!
Love, Prayers, & Support Always-Kristine
