Cleveland Clinic "Follow-up"

For a few months after this board was "fathered" by Jack Drum, there were several complaints about the follow-up on Mazers by the Cleveland Clinic, and perhaps that made a difference. I received another call this week, just over 19 months post-maze, during which I answered several questions for Dr. Gillinov's assistant.
I urged her to visit this page and then hopefully refer other "Mazers" and Those Thinking About It to join this support group. I encourage anyone else who receives "follow-up" calls from whereever they have received the Maze or ablations, to tell the questioner about this site so we can increase the base of contributors.
As Tim said below, Dr. Hammer was great with personal follow-ups, and their continued calls about every 6 months are surely an improvement welcomed by their patients.
