Ken,
You are still in the early stages of the healing process. With this hike you described you seem to be pushing youself harder than I think anyone else on the board may have that early into their recovery. You still have alot of healing to do. If my diving physics isn't faulty I don't think your dives would cause this type of problem. The pattern you mention has been described by others after they have undertaken physically challenging activities during their recovery. Some of our members have described continuing improvement during athletic activities over 18 months after their MAZE.
