In the beginning when I was about in the same position (one or two attacks/month) my cardiologist adviced me to take the tambocor when needed >so when I had a attack I took 100-200mg and when it didn't help another 100mg a few hours later.Later when the attacks became more frequent(more than once a week) I started to take the tambocor on a daily basis.
