I am 66 and was in a-fib for over 25 years before I had the Maze in August, 2001. I had been treated with gradually increasing dosage of Lanoxin during most of that time. While I am no longer in a-fib, I am not in NSR, nor do I ever expect to be. I have made a number of posts to this board which you may want to review, or I am happy to dialog in email if you would find that helpful. I fully agree with you about the "benign condition".
