Hi again-
This morning I spoke with Barb-Dr.McCarthy's nurse. Doctor is not in today, but Barb is going to get my records since my surgery in Oct. was done at CC and Dr. and her will review them and let me know what they think in a few days, with my last surgery not only fixed my tricuspid valve but also was to treat an extrememly bad resistant staph infection that migrated to my heart & pacemaker and left me on IV antibiotics for 6 weeks following surgery, but thank God I have been infection free ever since! So, hopefully all that won't mess up the possibilities of maybe having this surgery.
So, please all say a little extra prayer that Dr. McCarthy will be willing to offer his wonderful services so many of you have been bleesed to get.
I will keep you updated as things progress! By the way, if it was not for this site I would have NEVER EVER considered going through this procedure, so THANK you all soooo much for sharing your experiences. A doctor can try to explain, but you guys are the best educators!! I am a RN myself, but all of my nursing education had not come close to teaching what I have learned as a patient!
