Tim: While some people have some afib/aflutter a few months post maze or post ablation, the majority of us have had our brief episodes within a couple of months. I expect you will find that when you get off the meds, things will change for the better, but should you have any problems, you know you can go back for a "touch-up" ablation, like Henry. You ARE going to be OK, and hopefully, your cardiologist/EP will gain some understanding of the Maze from being exposed to you.
