Thanks for your encouragement, Jack and Carl. One thing that I forgot to mention is that in mid-June when I went onto Rhythmol, the cardiologist also turned down my atrial pacemaker to 50 bpm, which means that since then my heart has been running on its natural pacemaker because my heart rate is higher than 50 (in the 70's and 80's at this point). I like the feeling of being off of the atrial pacemaker. I haven't seen many posts on this board from people who have tried and failed on atrial pacemakers, and I'm wondering if it's because they've worked in others, there aren't that many of them, people just get the ventricular lead hooked up when they fail to resolve afib or what. Anyway, the pacemaker didn't do anything for my afibs.
