Terry

Thanks for sharing comments concerning your recovery experience. I have been reading your earlier posts too as you have shared them here. So far as your experience with your leg and foot is concerned I can share that the physician that administered the EMG asked a series of questions concerning numbness, tingling, weakness, recent serious illness, whether diabetic, recent time spent on a respirator etc. My own experience, now that the neuropathy has been diagnosed, is that the episodes with my affected foot tend to come and go. Sometimes it is very noticable in my gait and pain I experience and other times it is almost unnoticable. The reason I brought it to my primary care's attention initially was that I had noticed for several months that my foot had not been setting down right when I walked. At first he suggested it was a temporary condition that would clear up. Three months later I brought it to his attention again, and that is when he arranged for the EMG test.

Thanks again for your comments, and I wish you well.

Roger
