I am presently using a small box about the size of a calculator that plugs into a Personal Computer.
The box has three wires that attach to small plastic electrodes that are placed on the body. A computer program is supplied that gives a nice display of the EKG and also collects the data, allowing playback or saving the data for comparison at a later date.

The device is simple to use and set up and the customer support from the manufacturer is excellent.

The equipment costs $425.
It is available from:

Vernier Software & Technology
13979 SW Millikan Way
Beaverton, OR 97005-2886
Phone: 503-277-2299
Internet: www.vernier.com

They allow you to try the equipment for 30 days for free.

There are three parts required:

EKG Sensor
LabPro Interface
LoggerPro Software for the PC

I have a WORD file with a picture of the display I made showing my "P" and "T" waves for anyone interested. Just email me & I will send the .DOC file back to you.

Henry
