I have been reading the postings here to find postive outcomes from this procedure. My father had the maze at Cleveland...He too, was very depressed afterwards as he just didn't "feel right". Your first message indicated little contact made by Dr. McCarthy and staff and reference made to local MD. Same was true in my father's case. Be fortunate that you are alive as my father passed away of a massive cardiac arrest 14 days after return home. I think I am still very angry about what happened to him and I an venting somewhat. Please live life to the fullest and recognize you are one of the lucky ones! God Bless.
