I have had exactly the same experiences as you, junctional rhythm post-op, same elevated heart rate, same increased dose 400 mgs of amiodarone every day. The responses have been really helpful oin this web site so I hope you will read them and get some encouragement. If you are like me you feel disappointed and impatient to get your heart going at normal sinus rhythm again but it is important to remain hopeful, knowing that in almost evey case the heart heals and assumes normal rhythm.
