TC: I was put on Tambocor for A fib with fast ventricular response rate which occured 4 or 5 times aftr my Mazue procedure. I had been of amiodarone for about six weeks and was not anxious to go back on it, and Lopressor on a daily basis was just too fatiging for me, so I was put on Tambocor which so far is working. I have been A fib free for a month. I think I am the exception as far as taking so long to become free of drugs and still maintain sinus rhythm after the Maze. It actualy is nine months today that I had my surgery. Hopefully I will continue to do well and will soon be weaned off Tambocor. Of course, I am still on Coumadin.
