Mary Lou,
I've heard of low potassium causing irregular heartbeats. This usually happens when people have some sort of digestive problem like a stomach virus and they get dehydrated. I've never heard of too much potassium causing problems, but I'm sure it could happen. Many of us were discharged on Aldactone. I don't recall any posts about problems with a high level of potassium. It sounds like your local hospital is doing great on cooperating with the CC to help solve the problem. I hope Bob's condition improves rapidly.
