Bob, I went into the Maze a month ago weighing my long term regular 160 lbs. After returning to my home in San Diego two weeks later, I was surprised to see that I weighed 170 lbs. It was 10 lbs of fluid mostly in my legs, ankles, and feet. I went on diuretics for 7 days and got rid of the retained fluid plus 10 additional pounds, and wound up at 150 lbs. I have been working on eating more, and have now gotten back to 154 lbs. So weight loss after the Maze is probably a fact of life for some of us. Now that my appetite is back to normal, I believe I'll be back to my "fighting" weight in the near future. Don
