Michelle: If you go back to an earlier post (1/02/02) under "Microwave Maze", Jack posted a copy of a note I received from an inquiry I made to the San Ramon Regional Medical Center (San Ramon, CA), where they are doing this procedure. It is posted as "Another piece to the puzzle".
If the CC is doing this through the chest wall, it would certainly be attractive to many people IF the success/lack of complications (such as stenosis) are as good as the maze. I would quiz them thoroughly about how it is done, how many they've done, and success rate. Being able to talk to or correspond with some of those patients would be great as well.

Along those lines, I think it would be a good idea for the CC to tell prospective mazers and those who have had the maze, about this web site so they can learn/ask questions, and/or contribute info. It would sure be nice if some of these "AFX" patients could post their experiences.
