I am into my eight week post Maze and things are going well, I still beat in the mid 90's, but so far I havnt felt any a-fib. I am very happy to say that it no longer hurts to sneeze and being a stomach sleeper its nice to be able to roll over. Shortness of breath is not as much of a problem when walking, though it is still hanging around. The Tai Chi set that I do is becoming smoother and I hope to teach a new class at the Senior Center in another month. I called Mayo today and hope to hear when I will be able to go back to work. Where I work I need to be able to lift 40lbs, my E.P. feels the weight release needs to come from Mayo. Looking forward to getting back to work, I miss it but feel very fortunate that I have adequate sick leave and good insurance. Its nice to be on this side of the Maze its been 53 days since I last took amiodarone the only thing I take for my heart is asprin. I feel very fortunate that a-fib was my only problem and it sure looks like it is in my past. Thanks again for being here for us, it is a mighty fine group.
