Just wanted to let everyone know that I'm at day 19 post maze I feel great! I have started to sleep much better and I can now even sleep on my right side without any pain! Wow, does that feel good. My energy lever is coming back. A few nights ago I had a couple of runs of afib lasting 1.5 hours and 6 hours. Dr. Hammer changed me from 150 mg of Rythmol to 225. Other than that my heart rhythm seem perfect.
While I was in the hospital at the CC I ran across someone who was there with a patient. He mentioned that he went to school with Dr. McCarthy and I learned a few things about McCarthy. For whatever it's worth - did you know that his father was a back doctor?
