I understand exactly what you are talking about.
It happens to me EVERY morning. I wake up with a 2:1 flutter at 120 bpm. Then I take Rythmol and the rate converts to 4:1 at 77 bpm, where it stays for the rest of the day and until the next morning. Next morning, it starts all over again.

I am lucky in that the Rythmol changes the rate to 4:1 and slows me down, otherwise, I would be having 365 cardioversions per year (and I would be breaking your record).

I am currently waiting to hear from CC to tell me whether they can ablate the flutter or not.

You have been through Cardiac Hell and you deserve some good luck.
