I am surprised there weren't more responses to your post suggesting that "cure" needs to be clarified. I have wondered which percentage I fall in, whether the 98% or the 2%. While the MAZE did correct the afib, I am not in NSR like most of the very happy folks here talk about. Fortunately I do not take any meds, so I feel very fortunate there. But, I agree with you...it would be helpful to have clarification as to that those statistics define cure to be.
