Teri,

I just read your story and the other posts that you received. I agree with all the other posts in response. I just wanted to let you know that I had the Mini Maze at the Cleveland Clinic 15 days ago. I am 55. I feel great today. It is hard for me to believe that just 15 days ago I had open heart surgery and was on a bypass machine for 45 min! It turns out that what other Mazers have been saying is true. This operation is just not that hard to recover form. I know that it will be a long time before I can climb the same mountains that I use too before the afib and Maze, but I’ll get back in shape and without afib and the risk of heart damage. The Mayo is a great choice. My Doctor in Albuquerque tried to send me to the Mayo, but they were not helpful with my insurance problems.

Tim
