Michelle: Many of us have been the same route as your Ed. My ablation also just about eliminated afib for 3 months, and did eliminate the really high flutter. With the help of Dr. McCarthy, he will hopefully be free of afib soon. Just encourage him NOT to get too upset if he doesn't have an instant cure as some of us have enjoyed. We will all be thinking of him.
