I just spoke with my dad for the first time today..he sounded good, but said he was kind of tired today. He has read the posts that my sister and I have put up and he says we are exaggerating!! He said his walks have all been "short" walks and his middle of the night "shower" was really just a sponge bath! Well, I don't want to mislead anyone BUT I really do think he is doing GREAT! And my mom and sister are truly amazed at his progress, so I think he is just being humble! Dad says that we make it sound like he is gallivanting around the hospital, socializing with all the nurses and taking showers every night! hee hee
He wanted to assure you that this is NOT happening. :)Anyway, he said he was enjoying reading all your posts. I did ask him today if he was having any fib. and he said no but that they had a "pacer" on his heart that was keeping it at 90 beats per min. He said this would be on for 5 days...so, I am praying hard that he will be 100% cured from this condition!
