Tim, Carl said it very well. My cardiologist wanted to put a pacemaker in. When I told him I was not going that route he got upset and told me I was crazy for wanting to get the Maze procedure done. Needless to say I did not get any support from him and he is no longer my doctor. All I ask of my doctor is to give me all the facts and solutions then allow me input in the decision that will be best for my body. Tim as I wrote earlier the way you are recovering you will be soaring with the eagles before the 6 month mark.
I also was very impressed with the Doctor's at CC. Every day Dr. Uscef(sp) came to see me. I also met him in the hallway twice after I was discharged and he took time to ask how I was doing.
