I found your post very interesting - we have a saying here in Tennessee "you've really been through the mill!" I admire your systematic evaluation of the procedures, both for your cardiomyopathy and for your a-fib. When I read on your post that you are a systems analyst that approach made perfect sense! My sister and I also had our Maze procedures performed at the Cleveland Clinic by Dr. McCarthy. (I also had a mitral valve repair) He is the best! We also found him to be very approachable and willing to answer any and all questions (his staff is also great). I will keep you in my prayers and will check on your progress on thestatus.com.
