goodbye coumadin!

A few weeks ago I went to my cardiologist with the messages you wrote me in my head and with a print of the very clear story of Steve (thank you again Steve!).Another thing is that they have just publiced new regulations of the Dutch Cardiac Society.In this regulations they state that chronic lone atrial fibrillation in a healthy person under 65 years of age is not a indication anymore for coumadin.And I am in NSR,they removed my atrial appendix and I should continue the coumadin? My cardiologist agreed that was not logic.He discussed it in his "rhythm group" and with my maze surgeon and a few days ago he phoned me to say that all agreed that I can stop the coumadin,but I must take asperin instead.You can imagine I am very happy and I thank you all for your advice.Without the board I was probably still taking the coumadin!
