I don't know if you have had your question answered yet. I had the maze procedure performed by Dr. Joeseph Dearani at Mayo on 12/3/01. I am very satisfied with the results. After battling Lone AFib for 12 years I am now drug free. I was in AFib when I layed down on the operating table and have not noticed an irregular heart beat since!
