3 Months

It has been 3 months since I had the Maze procedure. As far as I know I have not had an irregular heart beat since. I just got back from seeing my local cardiologist. He said there is no reason for me to see him any more. It really feels wonderful. After 12 years of battling AFib I am totally off arrhythmia drugs (for last 9 weeks) and have no plans to visit my cardiologist again. I now even dare have a glass or two of wine. Before my surgery this was a sure way to initiate AFib.
The clicking noise in my sternum that I described in my 8 week report has all but disappeared.
At this point I am totally sold on the maze procedure!
