Attached (I HOPE) is an email Angie sent me re: her CC experiences. If you have followed her posts for a year or more, you know she has had some real problems with afib, doctors, and insurance. Now, having self-referred herself to the CC, she will not be getting the Maze. Let's all pray that Dr. Natalie can cure her with his ablation techniques, so she can get on with her life.

Carl, please forgive me for my tardy reply! I am not going to be having the maze as my wiring
is having too many proglems. They are going to be doing an ep study and ablation - they will
ablate arround all my 4 pulmonary veins and two different other arrhythmias if that is
possible. I have been through a huge riga-marole with my insurance and only today I have
gotten final approval and clearance for coverage out here. Not whining, but my blood pressure
has not be able to stand a chAnce! Finally, relief.

No maze. Many mixed feelings. But Dr. Natale and Dr. Schweigert seem very competent and are
quite sure that they can solve my problems. I have been really struggling with doubts and
feelings of confidence in the doctors both.

That is my brief rendition. Could you please share my post with the board? I am not thrilled,
but am still optimistic. I will do better to share my experience more appropriately when I am
home. Thank you for all your prayers and concern.

Angie

Angie: I share your optimism, and hope that you are soon "thrilled" by the sensation of NSR. Hey! if you can get there without the Maze, that's something to be happy about, and something we wish for everyone. Let's hope you are one of Dr. Natalie's success stories. You've earned it!
