Hi Dave! Great to hear about the success you have experienced with the MAZE procedure. I had the procedure done at Georgetown Univ. by Dr. Cox 3 years ago. My heart started back in a NSR immediately after the suregery and has stayed that way. No disjunctional rhythms at all. However, I have experienced cyclic periods of PVC's since the surgery. They occurred every 3 months and lasted for approx. one week. After the 2nd year the occurrance was about every 6 months and for the past year they have not shown up at all. I am sure that these episodes you are having will subside and just go away. Isn't it amazing how incredible feeling normal can be? I had gotten used to being tired and weak, but now I can do just about anything I want or need to do. With time you will too. Just wait and see!!!
