Jeanne (or Vicky): Your question is kind of like asking: "How long is a piece of string?" There could be many answers, depending upon the details of her condition.

Electrophysiology is a sub-specialty of Cardiology, in that EP's (as they are commonly called) specialize in the study/treatment of electrical problems within the heart, of which there are several types.
If your daughter suffers from heart arrythmias of any kind, an EP is who she should see.

If she has some neurological problem(also "electrical"), she should be seeing a neurologist.

Does she suffer from seizures? Epilepsy is still another "electrical" disturbance, in a LAYPERSON'S terms.

I hope she is seeing a good doctor who can refer her to the proper specialist(s). If not, she should seek help from a teaching hospital or a large facility like the Cleveland Clinic or the Mayo Clinic, where they have at least seen about every conceiveable medical problem.
