I am on my way, got my tickets and will arrive Feb 24th. Start the pre-op things Monday morning. My surgery date will be determined Wednesday. I guess Angie & and I will have to draw straws to see who goes first! Everyone, I must say that I am so very glad I found out about the Maze procedure this past December, then started seeking more information. I want again to THANK Jack Drum and his helpers for this board. It is here that I have received a lot of encouragement. It took me about a week to deceide that the Maze procedure was the way to go. I was scheduled for a pacemaker on December 12, 2001 to hold my heart rate up then my cardiologist was going to push a higher dose of sotolol. I would still be in AF and feel like a slug. After 10 years of being in AF, I am glad that there is light at the end of the tunnel not just left feeling sluggish all the time. Angie, It was a pleasure to meet you and the kids yesterday.
