Tim, Chronic A-Fib is not criterion for considering MAZE surgery. A drastic reduction in the quality of your live is. The A-Fib condition plus the drugs in some patients are intolerable. Only you know how you feel and what the quality of your life is. Base your decision on this and I don't think you can go wrong. Best regards, John W. Gross
