Glad that you found the Maze Alumni message board and welcome.
I was also fortunate in that I have been in NSR ever since I came off the table almost 4 years ago.
My surgeon told me that the sternum regains it's strength by 3 months. I have heard others talk about the clicking, which I never had. I did have problems with the sternum retaining some soreness. I lived with it for 2 years, but finally had to get the wires removed. The soreness left soon after the wires were gone.
