I was in a-fib (on and off) from 1982 to 1995. Life is incomparably better now. I exercise as hard as I want. While in my a-fib period, I gave up alcohol, caffeine and c hocolate. Five years later, I am largely still off them. I drink a glass of red wine from time to time and a cup of regular coffee if I am driving a long distance. Otherwise I abstain.
