Congratulations on your successful maze, glad you feel fine now. I had the maze 9 months ago, and the clicking sternum was the thing that bothered me most for a while. I had an MRI to make sure that the sternum was lined up right, and a couple of doctors told me that the clicking is fine(as long as there is no pain) and it could take a while to go away but continue all activities without worry after the 3-4 month timetable. One doctor said that some patients have some clicking for up to 2 years without problems. Use some judgement on your activities for awhile, that is a big and important bone to heal.
It was after 8 weeks or so that I started to feel pretty strong. I've been feeling progressively stronger ever since the operation.
