Thanks for the info. I think I will stay in the lower target zone for a few more weeks. I feel good in that area. I'm 60 y.o. and was fairly active as a rancher but: was not a daily walker or runner.

Carl , sorry to hear about your leg. I had a horse kick me once stayed in a cast for about 12 weeks.

My surgery site is a little tender but over all not to bad. I've been careful about lifting and stress that area. as per Dr. orders.

Carl , I did get a Polar monitor and I really like it.
