As the years go by, the memories of what it was like before the Maze wane. Ed's wonderful posting brought memories of things of the past back to me. I guess a lot of us can identify many of the experiences and emotions listed by Ed. And how good it feels to be rid of /most of/ those experiences. Yes Ed, I agree in full. Just being able to play with your kids without the fear of another onset of Afib, that alone makes it all worth while. Whereas some of us, sligthly nutty in someones view perhaps, appreciate the second chance of being able to participate in whatever sport you happen to enjoy, having had the quality of life back is what really counts.
Thank you for your post Ed, happy second birthday and good luck with your continued non-Afib life!
