As some of you know I had the Maze III in Houston about 5 weeks ago. I have been in NSR but continue to have some strange heart rates. I had a number of (skipped beats)PVC:s and the E.P. recommend a small does of rythmol (112 mg. per day). This has helped the PVC's a lot. Before starting the rythmol I had a few episodes of sudden slow heart rate at about 45 BPM. Seems if excercising or coughing will kick me back to a faster more normal rate. Also the rythmol; will put me back in a more normal rate as well, and seems to stop the slower rate. The episodes of slower rate have increased some the last few days. Has anyone else had this happen post Maze?

I know I'm only a little over 5 weeks post op but these are changes I didn't expect. Any feed back would be welcome.
