Hi Tony, let me be the first to say I think you are making a good decision in considering the Maze.
I am probably as bias as anyone on the board, but I don't think you will get many negative replies here. You can also go to some of the other AF boards who like medications and your replies will be very different.
It is wise to consider all the aspects to something this serious. I put the maze off for a long time myself before I gave in to have the surgery. I have been cured for 44 months, on no medication and feeling great at 68.
