No, Vicky, it can't be right. I was on amiodarone for five years prior to my minimally invasive maze. I think that Dr. McCarthy or one of the other surgeons might comment on this but it shouldn't affect the surgery. I think that you need to be off of it for a couple of months prior but that's it.
