I would like to ask some questions of those fortunate people who left the Maze procedure on medications, but who have since managed to drop all medications.

Did you try reducing or stopping medications from time to time, to see if your heart continued in NSR on its own?

Was there any symptom, feeling or other indication that your heart no longer needed the medications?

In my case, every two to three weeks I skip the 2pm dose of Rythmol. So far, by 10pm, I am in Flutter at 125 bpm, so I go back on the Rythmol again.

Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.
