Thanks to you, Chuck, for posting again, for it reminded me that not only do we share the same maze date, but we also had humorous (now that we look back) incidents at our respective hospitals, and that we are both fairly large guys. I remember, and still feel my sternum discomfort from laughing at your situation in the bathroom with your pacer in the toilet. (Ouch, it still hurts to laugh.)
It sounds as though you would like to be skiing with John, when he blows by his former cardiologist, who discouraged him re: the maze. All of you skiers/mazers ought to get together in Utah with John and find this doctor on a mountain. He might then become one of the biggest maze boosters.
As for me, I am anticipating seeing my former (3 years ago) cardiologist at a party Sunday (I DO hope he comes)so he can see what has become of me since I left his care and went to an EP, and subsequently was cured.
