Jackie: Your contagious enthusiasm for the dramatic change you and Joe have experienced, along with Dr. McCarthy's "cameo appearance" will surely help others who are still seeking accurate info re: the maze. While we all hope that the maze or some cure for Afib which has less risk is in the not-too-distant future, it cannot be denied that the risk at a good center is much lower than the risk of other current treatments, including drugs and ablations.
