Joe is scheduled to have pre-testing done next week at
Cleveland Clinic on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th. Then will
return for the Maze on the 11th, 12th , or 13th of December. Dr. McCarthy will perform his surgery and
Dr. Hammer will be his cardiologist. Thus far, we are
very impressed with the Cleveland Clinic. Everyone we
have talked to over the phone has been extremely kind,
understanding, and professional.
To refresh those that do not know Joe's history, he is
47 yrs old, in A-fib all the time, has not responded to meds or cardioversions. This is 3rd year of this debilitating illness.
We are eager to proceed, however, have final hurdle to
cross with insurance certification. Maria at the Cleveland Clinic felt that insurance approval would not be a problem. I pray not! That would be a huge
let down.
Both of our children have exams during this period. Please pray for all of us.
