Jackie, I can empathize completely with your situation. Two years ago, I was in a very similar situation - watching my husband get worse day by day, having our lives controlled by his afib. The waiting is the worse - we waited over 6 months for his maze surgery after we decided to go thru with it. I can only say to hang in there and hopefully, one day you will be like me - looking back on this as only a distant memory. Please feel free to email me back if you need someone to talk to.
