Congratulations Mike. I hope the ablation works long term for you. I had one in 1993 and felt much better. After about 6 months or so, it pretty much returned to normal - or should I say "abnormal". I'm sure they are getting better with the ablations day by day, but if it doesn't work long term, keep checking into this newsgroup and know that if you need it - the MAZE is always an option. One that has very high probability of long term success.
I sure hope the ablation works well for you. Atrial Fibrillation is a horrible disease - not the minor inconvenience that some doctors (that don't have AF) think it to be.
