With the exception of in hospital post op confusion, I have had an uneventful, perfect recovery. I did not know the incisions were through the muscle. That would explain why it takes the 6 weeks for real recovery. I now walk three to four miles per day or go to the treademill in our gymn. My wife says that I am mentally sharper than I was pre-op.
I am going to Mexico a week from Friday with my wife and daughter, and plan do some swimming at Europa Beach, as well as hiking.I have never been out of normal sinus rhythm since the operation and of course am not on cumodin. This has been an uneventful but nonetheless, very exciting recovery!
