Bummer!
At about 11pm tonight, my heart rate changed from NSR 70 bpm to Atrial Flutter at 130 bpm. This really bummed me out but a phone call from Carl has restored my spirits. He says that over a period of time this will be corrected.

Right now Dr Hammer has started me on Rythmol and Lopressor. If I do not chemically convert by tomorrow, he will cardiovert me.

I will get the results of the today's chest X-Rays tomorrow, also the results of today's echo. I was told the ejection fraction was measured at 55% in atrial flutter today.

I have virtually no pain at all. I take Perocet to help me to fall asleep. My appetite has returned. I cleaned the entire breakfast offering. I think my incision is larger than 3.5 inches - more like 4.5 inches. One of Dr McCarthy's surgeons pressed faily hard on the chest today and it did not hurt.

My roomate here is a cardiologist from Venezuela. His family found out about CC on the Internet.

Thanks, Carl for the phone call.
This place is really organized and very patient friendly.
Good luck to all.
